Beginner Level/Refresher Course
Are you stuck in auto mode and want to actually learn how to use your DSLR camera shooting manually? Do you love alpacas and want to meet ours? Well this is the course for you.
You will bring your own DSLR camera with you to our farm for a two-hour lesson on the ins and outs of your camera. You will learn about:
- how your digital camera works
- discovering the settings of your camera
- shooting MANUALLY - setting your ISO, Aperture and Shutterspeed AND what each do
- TWO hour lesson + ONE hour applying what you learned with your own camera, taking photos of our alpacas
- meeting our 5 alpacas and learning about them
Then...
We will go outside to the pasture where you will be able to apply what you just learned. You will be introduced to our five alpacas; Samuel L Jackson, Marty McFly, Mr. Peterman, Newman and Jeff. The boys are very photogenic and you will have an hour to hang with them and get their good side.
Course Requirements:
You must bring your own DSLR camera with you to the course. You may also bring a mirrorless camera as long as it has full manual capabilities. If you would like to ask about your camera beforehand, please email deboraH.
NOTE: If you have just visited another farm, please do not wear the same footwear to our farm as you could carry disease and pests.
